Show Informal Reception Given in Commemoration qt the I ; Sixtieth Wedding Anniversary of Ogden Pioneers I , ' 1 Quite the most auspicious event of the -veek in social circles was the in- formal reception given last evening at the spacious home of Mr. and Mrs. William Driver, 2708 Jefferson avenue where a large number of their host of friends in this city were received and entertained in a splendid manner man-ner from e'ght until 10 o'clock. The- Driver home was exceptionally pretty with a wealth of lavendar as- ters and goldenglow, the flowers being! arranged throughout every room In a most artistic manner. Ferns and potted pot-ted plants vied with tho cut flowers in beauty and were also placed most effectively ef-fectively in the parlors nnd dining room. The affair of last evening celebrated celebrat-ed the sixtieth anniversary of the wedding wed-ding of Mr. and Mrs. Driver, who were married in London, England, August 16, 1S5S and who shortly afterward' came to this state to help In its up-1 building. Both Mr. and Mrs. Driver have been very active in the growth and advancement of the state and especially es-pecially the city of Ogden where Mr. Driver conducted his business for many years and assisted in various ways in the upbuilding of the community. com-munity.
