Show The teachers of the Summit school entertained at a no-host party Monday evening at the home of Jay Knudson. The party was ( given in the honor of the birth- j day anniversary of Principal Glen R. Winn. Dinner was served at one large table covered with a lace cloth and centered with a crystal bowl of daffodils yith ivory tapers at the ends. The Mrs. Mary Povey and family ot Clifton, spent the week end visit, ing with her mother, Mrs. Carrie Pitcher and family. Dinner was served at on3 large table to 36 club members and guests. The evening was spent in dancing. Mrs. Lester Facer entertained Thursday afternoon at a dinner party. The occasion being her birthday anniersary. Mrs. Facer received many beautiful gifts. Those included were Mrs. Elzo Athay, Mrs. Golden Reader, Mrs. L. O. Low, Mrs. John Douglas, Mrs. Lenord Miles, Mrs. Parley Bingham, Mrs. Curtis Hill, Mrs. Gladys Bingham, and Mrs. Violet Bingham of Amalga. The afternoon after-noon was spent visiting and sewing. ! place cards were small American 1 flags. The evening was spent in playing games. Mr. Winn was presented with a gift. Miss Anicej Cook, Miss Susie Buttars and Jay Knudson were in charge of the( arrangements. Sixteen were included. includ-ed. Cantwell, Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon. Mrs. Lee Hales of Logan gave a review of the bok, "The Art of Living", by Maurois. Special guests were Mrs Robert E. Griffiths, Mrs. Richard The Old Friends club were the guests of Mrs. Lew McCann, Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon at her home in honor of the birthday anniversary of Mrs. Loralne Ralphs of Logan. She received many lovely gifts. The afternoon was spent visiting and sewing. Luncheon was served to the following guests.
