A vo cal solo was rendered by Mrs Francel Hansen. All the candidates candi-dates on the Republican ticket were present. Another rally wUl b-held b-held just prior to Election Day on November 4th in connection with a free picture show. Watch for tne date. A birthday party for Emmerson Cook was given on nis fifth birthday birth-day anniversary and a very pleasant pleas-ant afternoon was spent bv ten nf lus little friends. Refreshments were served and games were play-Now play-Now the much talked of di season is here and men of most every vocation have gone on the hunt. On the second day hunters hunt-ers who had returned with deer were: Fan-el Hansen, Jess Hansen Andrew A. Hansen, Urban S. Mad-sen, Mad-sen, George C. Jackson, Kelly Christensen, Lynn Oldroyd, Ernest and Jack Robertson. It is hoped that everyone who left for this pose will be lucky and soon return with one of the much desired animals ani-mals and also that they will be very cautious and watch for the red cap when shooting. The elementary and junior high schools closed Wednesday afternoon in order that all teachers might attend the U. E. A. convention at Salt Lake City. On account of the two weeks beet vacation th Moroni high school students are home and busy and no doubt will be glad when school begins agtun. The Hems Economics club is making elaborate prepartions for a Halloween dance to be held on C3tb;i- Slst. Tne hall will be Leaultfuily decorated and pop corn t-.i'.ls will be sold. A peppy orchestra orch-estra has been engaged and the entire public is invitee;. Come out Und enjoy Halloween with your friends. Mrs. Jennie Jones of Logan and Mrs. Virginia Olson of Brigham City arc visiting tor a few days with Mrs. G. F. Johnson. Mrs. Will Samuels and Mrs. Vance Thorley of Salt Lake City are v isiting with relatives anil friends here while their husbands are out on the deer hunt. |
