Saturday evening the Sorosls cluu met at Fnradl.se Gardens and spent the evening dancing after the dance they enjoyed a midnight supper at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Anderson, those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Rt.y Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Black-ham. Black-ham. Mrs. Ophelia Rhodes, Mr. and Mrs. N. P. Sorensen. Mr. and Mrs. Mert Draper. Mr. and Mrs. James Larson, Mr. and Mrs. Lenard Tidwell, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Draper, Mr. and Mrs. Russel Bailey and Mr. Joe Prestwitch. Those entertaining were: Mr. and Mrs. Blain Draper, Mr. nnd Mrs. Ray Blackham, Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Blackham, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Anderson. This is the closing summer outings, next week they will start their regular meetings. See "Patsy Ruth Miller" and "Ralph Inch" in "Shanghaid" at the Kozy Theater Sunday and Monday, Sept.. 9th and 10th. Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Gowers, Mr. and Mrs. Ferril Harris. Miss Claudean Tidwell, and Miss Olive Draper of Salt Lake spent. Labor day at Moroni. Mr. and Mrs. A. M.. Anderson have gone to Salt Lake to spend the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Anderson were Salt Lake visitors Tuesday. Funeral services were held for Mrs. Chris Nielsen Friday at the East ward chapel. Davis Nicholls and Alma Blackham offered prayers. The speakers were: Ordando Bradley Daniel Anderson, Morgan Lamb and Bishop Elmo Irons. The choir sang "Though Deepninp, Trial" "I'll go Where You Want Me To Go" and "I Need Thee Every Hour... Duet "Cast thy Bread Upon The Water", by Mrs. Elmo Irons and Mrs. P. J. Draper. Funeral services for Anderw D. Jensen Jen-sen w-ere held, Tuesday at 2 o'clock in the west ward chapel. Prayers were offered by Daniel Anderson An-derson and Chris Christensen. The choir sang "Rock of Ages", "My Father Knows" and "Abide With Me". Special musical numbers were a vocal solo, by Lewis Blackham "Sometime We'll Understand". Duet "The Upper Garden" Mrs. P. J. Draper and Mrs. Lawrence Larsen. ' The speakers were: Heber Anderson, Chris Peterson, Orlando Bradley and Bishop Ephraim Nelson. Mr Jensen died at his home Saturday Satur-day he has been suffering for a number of years. He was born in Moroni, April 12 1868 making him 60 years old. His widow, Mrs. Clara Jensen ana four children survive him, Mrs. Edger Prandsen of Moroni, Clarence of the Reservation, Lionel of Pines Utah and Joab of Salt Lake City. He also leaves turpi ve erand-children. . Mrs. James Larsen gave the Trail Builders of the West Ward a Lolly Pop party .Tuesday afternoon on the lawn at the tabernacle. Twenty boys were present. The West ward M. I. A. held their opening social Tuesday evening, in the tabernacle. The program was as follows. Community singing, Praver Minerva Anderson. Vocal solo, "Ramona", Miss Grace Blackham a comedy act itmtmg the new officers were given by, Mrs. Arcn Christensen initiated the President, Mrs. Soren C.
