The following telegram, tele-gram, which is self-explanatory, relates re-lates to the emergency medical and nursing relief work furnished Ihrounh the United States public health service serv-ice to communities unable to cope wilh Ihe present situation even with state aid : "Public health service will mobilize with itid volunteer medical service all outside medical aid required in combating com-bating present influenza epidemic. Red Cross upon specific request from this service will mobilize nursing personnel and furnish necessary emergency hospital hos-pital supplies which cannot be obtained ob-tained otherwise. Inform till city anil county health officers your slale that all appeals for aid must be made lo stttle health department, which will make request of surgeon general, public pub-lic health service, whenever local needs require.
