Show OPtN AIR FUNERAL FOR ARTHUR L. JORGENSEN Funeral services were held at the City Cemetery Monday noon for Arthur Lorenzo Jorgensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Jorgensen, who died Sunday morning at 3 o'clock after a short illness with Spanish Influenza. Pres. A. Merz conducted the services ser-vices at the cemetery. The opening prayer was offered by Elder Andrew Larsen. Singing was conducted by Mrs. Tressa Ericksen. Pres. C. N. Lund and Pres. Merz were the speakers. speak-ers. Elder R. W. Weech offered the closing prayer and Elder Hans Lund dedicated the grave. The floral offering of-fering were many and beautiful. The news of Arthur's death came as a sad shock to his many friends in this city and other parts of the state. He was an industrious young man and a favorite among the entire en-tire community. Arthur is survived by iis parents, one brother, Holger, and two sisters, Pearl and Lewella. His brother, Alfred died six weeks ago. The grief stricken parents have the sympathy of the entire community. |
