Bishop and Mrs. Bert Willardson of Mayfield were guests at the home of Mrs. Stena Olsen last week. Ned Eugene the infant son of Mr. j and Mrs. Melvln Peterson died Feb. 19th. of Bronchits. A funeral service ser-vice was held at the home of Mart Peterson. I Word was received here til Is week of the death of Mrs. Adolph Neilson Saturday, February 21 at Schorteld. She died of Influenza. -Mr. and .Mrs. Adolph Neiisou were former residents here. Mrs. Neilson was formerly Miss Flossie Peterson. She leaves beside her husband, her mother moth-er and three sisters, Mrs. Roy Barker, .Miss Louie Pelerson and Miranda Peterson. j On February 6 the stork brought to the home of Mr. ar.d Mrs. George ; Miner at Delta twin babies, a boy and a girl. Mr. and Mrs. Miner were former residents of Fairview. John Bills and his son, Samuel Bills went to Sunnyside last week, where they have employment. Mrs. E. A. Day, Sr., who visited at Provo last week returned home Friday. Fri-day. Mrs. Estella Pike, who visited relatives re-latives here, retuned to her home at; Vernal this week. The one year old baby girl of Mr. and Mrs. Heber Jensen, died last week of pneumonia. Funeral services ser-vices were held at the residence Sunday. Sun-day. The ward choir furnished music and Peter Peterson and H. W. Clark were the speakers. Chauncy Howell offered the benediction. They have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement. The funeral was well j ; attended. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Vance, Mr. and Mrs. Orsen Mower, Mrs. Marie Robertson, Mrs. Estella Clayton and Mrs. John Bills went to Moroni Monday Mon-day to attend the funeral of Mrs. Andrew Mower. Mrs. Marie Robertson and Mrs. Estella Es-tella Clayton of Sunnyside were Fair-view Fair-view visitors this week. Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Brady and a number of relatives attended the funeral of Mrs. Henry P. Olsen at Mount Pleasant. Mr. and Mrs. Andy Peterson entertained en-tertained Thursday evening for G. F. Hickman, H. S. Glazier of Salt Lake, and Mrs. Louse Linguist. An elaborate dinner was served, after which the evening was spent enjoying enjoy-ing Claxtonola mualc and a social chat. |
