Show December 14, 1994 - The Pyramid - Page Five Badgers beat North Idaho, fall to Ricks by Gary Chidester The Badgers started the regular season of the Scenic West in grand style with a win over North Idaho 4 and one of the best performances the Activities Center has seen since last years spanking of Dixie College. Englebright was put into the game to play man defense and stop Eddie Turner who started the game with five three-poi- EPHRAIM-- - nt shots. 77-7- Englebright quickly became a second skin for Turner who wasnt exactly appreciative and after scoring 17 quick points only had four more before the half. Bodily came into the game about the same time and sparked the Badgers with some physical ply inside the paint. The offense was provided by Seth Miller in the first half who was all over the court hitting everything he put up. Miller finished with 16 points and six rebounds. Brian Kelly also had a big night offensively scoring 17 on five of seven from the field. Marcus Bruschke had 15 points and six rebounds for the Badgers and Andrew Mavis top-rank- ed But they came back to earth the next night as they fell to Ricks College "We really showed that we can play with the more talented teams in this league with the win over North Idaho," said Head Coach Jon Judkins. 82-8- 8.
