Show i Manti Couple To Observe 60th Wedding Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Madsen will keep open house at their home , in Manti Sunday, May 26 from 3 p. m. to 6 p. m. in observance of their sixtieth wedding annivei1-sary. annivei1-sary. Both Mr. and Mrs. Madsen have ! spent their entire married life in 1 Manti. Mr. Madsen was born March 27, ! 1851 in Vorup, Randers Co., Denmark Den-mark to Niels and Mette Marie j Madsen. Mrs. Madsen was born January 13 1857 at Salt Lake City !a daughter of Peter and Dorthea i Marie Monson of Mt. Pleasant Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Madsen were married in the endowment house at Salt Lake City May 27 1880. They are the parents of seven children, five of whom are living they are: Mr. P. C. Madsen, Mr. E. P. Madsen and Mrs. H. I. Voorheese of Manti; Mr. C. N. Madsen of Logan; and Mrs. Ruby jBoyden of Salt Lake City. There ! are 25 grand children and 5 great j grand children. ! Mr. Madsen is a retired farmer ' and stock grower. Both Mr. and Mrs. Madsen have been ardent L. D. S. church workers'. Relatives and friends are invited invit-ed to call and renew old friendships. |
