Show Marriages Announced Mr. and Mrs. Obed Nelson announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter, Mary Nelson White to Mr. Lamar C. Jensen on Friday, September 20th, 1946. The ceremony was peroformed at high noon at the home of the bride's parents, with J. R. Bag-nail Bag-nail of the North Sanpete Stake Presidency officiating. Following the ceremony a wedding wed-ding dinner was served to members mem-bers of the immediate families, after which the young couple left to honey moon at Bryce and Grand Canyons. They will make their home in Provo where the groom will attend at-tend school at the B. Y. U. The groom served for almost three years in the far east (India) area of operations. The bride is a former student of B. Y. U. and L. D. S. Business College. St. Francis church in Provo was the scene Saturday evening, September 28th of the wedding of Miss Mary Margaret Rasmus-sen, Rasmus-sen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rasmussen of Mt. Pleasant, to Frank J. Lynn of Darby, Penn. The bride wore a gown of pink marquisette with a coronet of white stephanottis and carried white orcheds with her prayer book. She was given in marriage marri-age by her father and her sister, Mrs. W. D. Tueller of Provo was matron of honor. Robert L. Rasmussen, Ras-mussen, the bride's brother, was best man. Following the ceremony a dinner din-ner for twenty-five guests was given at club Radar. The young couple spent their honey moon in Southern Utah, Arizona and Nevada. The bride is a graduate of Wasatch Academy, a former student stu-dent of the University of Utah and a graduate of St. Mark's School of Nursing. She served more than two years in the U. S. Marine Hospital in San Francisco. Fran-cisco. Mr. Lynn is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Frank Lyn, Sr. of Darby, Penn. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State College where he was affiliated with Delta Kappa Phi. He was discharged dis-charged in June after five years in the U. S. Maritime Service. They will make their home in Darby. |
