Show FAIRVIEW Infant Dies At Spring Canyon Funeral services for Victor Gerald 2 years old son of Maggie P. and Myron Stewart, who died at Spring Canyon last week, were held in Fair-view Fair-view South ward chapel Sunday. Bishop George E. Stewart of Mil-burn Mil-burn presiding. Music was by the Fairview ward choirs under direction of Stanley Brady. Special solos were given by Mrs. Ellis Coombs and Mrs. Newel Cox. Speakers who gave comfort and sympathy to those bereaved were Maitland Graham and Bishop H. C. Jacobs. Prayers were by Bishop Peter Nielsen and Henry Mower. Interment was in the Fair-view Fair-view cemetary where C. C. Petersen dedicated the grave. Flowers were unusually profuse and beamtiful. The funeral was very well atended. Surviving besides the parents are one .brother and one sister, Max and Udela. Visitors who came to attend the services were, Miss Floss Staker, Mr. and Mrs. A. V. Borg, of Mt. Pleasant and many friends from, Milbarn. Four cars came from -Spring Canyon, besides the family, Mr. and Mrs. Will Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Anderson, Ander-son, Mr. and Mrs. Richord Brown, Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Muer, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Pete'ison, of Magna, Mirs. Jesse B. Reynolds, of Salt Lake City. 1 The two Fairview ward primaries held a May day party at the City park Monday. A program was given giv-en and merry games enjoyed. They all took luncheon and enjoyed a social soc-ial afternoon. Vera Turpin was May Queen and Winona and Ethei Jensen were maids for the . South ward Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coombs announce an-nounce the arrival of a baby girl at their home, May 15. Mrs. Coombs 'was formerly Miss Cecil Vance. Mr. and Mins. Gunner Budvarscn and -children of Los Angeles . are guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. j N. B. Pritchett this month. Mrs. Abbie Taylor announces the engagement of her son Anzel to Miss Anna Crosley. The marriage to be solemnized in the Salt Lake j Temple, June 1st. They will make their home at Fairview., Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Rasmussen entertained a number of guests at a; card party Friday evening. The-Prizes The-Prizes .were won by Mrs. Fred Chris-! tensen and Dr. S. B. Rigby, consol-j ation prizes being given to L. L. Peterson and Mrs. Loren Hamilton. I Refreshments were served to twelve guests. The same bunch of married folks enjoyed a hike out of town and a weenie roast on Monday evening. Bishop and Mrs. Geoirge E. Stewa.i't of Milburn, announce the arrival of twin boys at their home Tuesday, Tues-day, May 17. This is the third pair of twins horn among the Stewart Stew-art relation in the past five years. A remarkable thing in a community of only 20 families. |
