Show Snow College Notes First Grade Holds Birthday Party The first grade of the Snow College Training School held a party in honor of George Washington's two hundredth birthday, Monday February 22 in the college auditorium. A program pro-gram consisting of George Washington Wash-ington songs and a playlette "George Washington's School Days," was given. At the little luncKcon immediately afterwards the children and their mothers enjoyed eating the birthday cake. At this time the mothers were shown the George Washington Wash-ington Booklets which the children have made this month. Miss Vi-late Vi-late Jacobsen of Manti is grade supervisor. Miss Julia Modeen of Gunnison, Louise Larsen of Manti Mable Smyth of Fountain Green and Eva Olsen of Ephraim are the training teachers. Sophomeres Give Program Wilbur Ccx, sophemore activity man, directed the broadcasting of the Sophomore Competitive Program Friday February 19 in the college assembly. Program Given The Snow College student body under the guidance of LaPriei Crabb and Mr. Ralph Blackham, presented a Washington bicentennial bi-centennial program in the college assembly Monday, February 22 at 11:34 a, m. The first feature of the exercises exer-cises was the presentation of a living liv-ing Flag made of 113 children from the kindergarten, first and second grades of the training school. Mrs. Melba Kotter Armstrong Arm-strong sang "The Flag Without With-out a Stain" and the national Bi- j centennial song was sung.
