Show Fairview J W. J. Brady went to Idaho last week to put in operation a new flour mill. On his return he expects to go to Castle Dale to take charge of a flour mill located at that place. James Carlston and familv are moving to Murry, where Mr. Carlston Carl-ston is interested in the rearing of fish. Several car loads of mining props were shinned to the Utah Fuel Co. last week by John 0. Carlston. Mr. and Mr. Fred Danielson are visiting with Mrs. Danielson's relatives rela-tives at Abraham. The younger girls organized a club last week called the Dor Oze Club. Miss Elsie Sorenson is president, pres-ident, Miss Vera DeFries vice president. pres-ident. They expect some jolly times socially. The Ladies Literary Club met at the home of Mrs. Chailes Peacock. July the 25th. The lesson and review re-view questions were given by Mrs. Mable Earle. Reading the "The Child of The Poor" by Mrs. Estella Miner.- Dainty refreshments were served. The Mutual Improvement Associa-ions Associa-ions gave a musical last Sunday evening eve-ning in the Meeting house. An excellent ex-cellent program was given and it was a musical treat. Pat Young had some experience automobling a week ago last Friday night while on the way to Mt, Pleasant Pleas-ant with the Fairview Orchestra to play for a dance-They arrived there at eleven thirty. Mrs. Harry Rasmussen entertained entertain-ed a number of friends at dinner July the 28th. in honor of her birthday. birth-day. A delightful evening was spent. The D. Arc girls were entertained July 31st by Miss Lottie Gibson. A story was read by Miss Gibson. The evening was spent in sewing and social chat. Light refreshments were served. The work on the new Church is progressing nicely. The cement floors in the basement are completed and carpenters are now at work in the auditorium. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Morris and Mrs. Dr. Rothwell of Murry have returned home after a two week's visit with friends and relatives. Mrs. Wm. Cheney, Miss Fannie Terry, Miss Lucile Madsen, Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Sanderson, Mrs. H. F. Miner, and B. F. Larson all of Provo returned home last week after spending spend-ing the holidays in Fairview. Born to the wife of Joseph Jensen Jen-sen of Milburn, July 28th a girl. Born to the wife Urbon Hartley' July 25, a boy. |
