Carol Jean Farley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Farley, recently celebrated her fifth birthday at a luncheon for 12 of her small friends. Mrs. Dortha Jolley and son, Joe, of Phoenix, Ariz., have been visitors at the J. C. Jensti home this week. Tuesday evening Joe was guest of honor at a weiner roast in celebration of his ninth birthday. A special guest at the event was a cousin, Roy Hansen of Los Angeles. Mrs. J. J. Jensen of Manti has also been a house guest at the Jensen home for the past two weeks. Monday 28 students of Wasatch Wa-satch Academy attended a performance per-formance of "Othello" at Kingsbury Kings-bury hall on the campus of the University of Utah. D. Allen Thomas and Mrs. Elizabeth Allen Al-len were chaperones for the group. Mrs. Charles Neilsen of Salt Lake has been spending the last two weeks visiting at the John Seely home in Mt. Pleasant and the D. R. Vance home in Fair-view. Fair-view. Mrs. Roy Poulsen returned Monday from an extended visit with her children in Tooele, Og- den and Idaho. Miss Phyllis Cotro-Manes went to Salt Lake Saturday afternoon especially for a rehearsal with the choir of the Masonic Temple which will be featured in a sunrise sun-rise service to be broadcast over KSL at 6:30 a.m. on Easter morning. morn-ing. Mrs. J. Leo Seely spent last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. Thomas Patterson. Sunday Sun-day she was joined by Mr. Seely who officiated at the blessing of a grandson at Capitol . Hill ward in Salt Lake. 'Mr. and Mrs. Leon Sorensen and son, David, of Ogden, will spend Easter weekend at the George Sorensen home. V Mr. and Mrs. Frank Olsen of Salt Lake are expected to visit Mr. and Mrs. Ray Allred this weekend. Mrs. Effie Gunderson will leave Sunday to visit with her daughters, Miss Thelma Larsen and Mrs. Lavar Ames in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Day of Provo will spend the Easter holiday holi-day at the home of their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Olsen. Last Sunday afternoon Miss Margaret Thompson and Mrs. John Sours entertained informally inform-ally at tea for members of the faculty of Wasatch Academy at the Sours' home. .Feature of the afternoon were the. unique and strange hats exhibited by feminine fem-inine guests. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Staker entertained at a buffet supper recently for Mrs. Staker's sister, Mrs. Opal Abbott of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who has been a visitor vis-itor in the community for the past month. Guests of the occasion oc-casion were Mr. and Mrs. Howard How-ard Rigby of Fairview, and Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Jensen of Fair-view Fair-view and their son, Garth. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Mad-sen Mad-sen and children Frank and Theda returned Sunday evening from a four day visit in Colorado Colo-rado where they yisited with Mrs. Madsen's brother, Mont Robertson Robert-son and his family in Grand Valley. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Jonet , had as their guests last weekend week-end their son, Hugh Jones of Burns, Oregon, and their daughter. daugh-ter. Miss Ruby Jones, and another anoth-er daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Book and children, Barbara, Robert, Jerry, and Marilyn Mar-ilyn Book, all of Salt Lake. While here the family celebrated in advance Mr. Jones eighty-second birthday anniversary April 14. Mr. and Mrs. J. Otto Johansen and daughter, Miss Glenda Johansen Jo-hansen were Salt Lake visitors this week. ' .. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rasmussen Jr. of Coalville visited Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant relatives Sunday. Mr. and Mrs., Leslie Porter of Delta were guests of relatives and friends here last weekend. P. Spring Vacation Mrs. Morris H. Anderson of Inglewood, Calif., accompanied by her son and daughter have visited with Moroni and Mt. Pleasant friends and relatives this week. . The Andersons have been guests at the home of Mrs. Anderson's An-derson's father, John Irons of Moroni, and at the Wresley Johansen Jo-hansen residence in Mt. Pleasant. Pleas-ant. Mrs. Johansen is a sister. Mrs. Anderson will be remembered re-membered i as the former Kathleen Kath-leen Irons. She expects to return re-turn to California Sunday with her two children. V Mrs. John F. Meldrum who has spent the past winter at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Moroni Marchant will leave Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant this week to. return to her home in Kaysville. Mrs. Marchant is a daughter of Mrs. Meldrum. Mrs. Jack Downs of Salt Lake city spent last weekend at the home of an aunt, Mrs. Anna Syndergaard. She is a daughter of Mrs. Nellie Coates and will be remembered as the former Billie Coates. Mr. and Mrs. Alden Hayward of Bountiful and family will be weekend guests at the home of Joe Johansen. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Kump of McGlll. Nevada, will bo weekend week-end visitors of Mrs. Susie Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Royal Sorensen. Soren-sen. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bouyant of Cedar 'City were visitors at the Jay Winkelman home Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Mack Stansfiold returned Sunday from a week's trip to Hillsboro, North Dakota. They were accompanied on the trip by Mr. and Mrs. Earl Elliot of Salt Lake. Mrs. Ellen Reynolds of Salt Lake has been visiting with her sons, W. D. Mower and L. C.
