himself” This would suggest something of a sincere humility that all of us should feel in great degree We admire great art and the artist but the painting at best only simulates something seen in the reality of nature There are statues well done that seem to have the breath of life but they don’t have the breath of life We are very grateful for the miracle drugs for skilled diagnosis and for delicate surgery but the most skilled of men can only aid the physical functions He can’t creat them The scientist in every field discovers a few laws and uses them to miraculous ends make the laws but he doesn’t Sometimes we think great thoughts that are new and wonderful to us and then later we find that they have been thought and recorded by many minds many times in many places So we see what is made we paint pictures carve stone and as we see so much of what is made and lest we think too little of the maker We may well remember the for all Mary Henrie received a visit from her daughter
