'3, . - V.-ft MISS RUTH MAXWELL Formal announcement was made last week by Mrs. Stella Maxwell, widow of the late patriarch, Richard Rich-ard L. Maxwell of San Fernando stake, of the engagement of her daughter, Ruth, to Newell Moul-ton Moul-ton of Delta, Utah. The wedding is set for shortly after the first of the year in the St. George temple. Moulton attended Delta high .school .sch-ool and BYU. The young couple met while Miss Maxwell was in Salt Lake at M I A conference last June. Moulton came to North Hollywood some two months ago. They plan to make their home in North Holly wood following their marriage. The popular bride-elect received her Golden Gleaner award in July. She was queen of the Gold and Green Ball in North Hollywood ward in 1949 and Gleaner president presi-dent the same year. Earlier this year she had a starring role in the MIA-produced play, "But Fair Tomorrow," and is at present a teacher in Junior Sunday School. She is a graduate of North Hollywood Holly-wood high school and attended Valley Junior College. Since that time she has helped in her family's business in Sun Valley. A son of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Moulton of Delta, Utah, the bridegroom-to-be returned only last fall from a mission in Eastern Canada and has resided in Salt Lake City since that time where he instructed in Sunday School and was active in a stake youth chorus. Prior to filling his mission, |
