Show IS. EI. S. Xvws LYLA RAE TALBOT ELECTIONS Primary elections were held last Friday 'for studentbody officers for next year. The following students are running for various offices: President, Raymond Robinson, Merlin Theobald; vice president, Dale Carting, La Voy Tolbert; sec, Shirley Davis, Hal Young; cheerleaders, cheer-leaders, Edith Petersen, Joyce Davis, Dav-is, Ina Rae Damron, Barbara Whicker Whic-ker and Carol. Keller. Campaigning has been going on all this week and the halls are brightly decorated with all sorts and sizes of posters. Final elections will be held Thursday. FILM Mr. Ware, of the Fish and Game. Commission, came to the school Tuesday and gave a lecture and film on wildlife. After the film the students ask questions about the things they didn't understand. The assembly was interesting and enjoyed en-joyed by all. CLEAN UP Wednesday was clean-up day. All the students brought their clean-up equipment and the morning morn-ing was spent in cleaning up the yards. In the afternoon the student body enjoyed a full length film, "Arabian Nights". JUNIOR PROM The Juniors are working hard on their Junior Prom for the past week. Monday they will start to decorate the gym. They, have been working in committees thus far and feel they have been doing a good job. |
