Show PNEUMONIA FATAL TO TROY TURNER Died Mondav after Week of Sickness; Funeral -was Held Wednesday V Troy Turner, fifteen-year old son of Mrs. Bertha Turner Robison, of Baker, Nevada, passed away in Milford Mil-ford Monday at the home of his brother, S. E. Turner. The cause of his death was pneumonia. Troy was a student in the Milford public schools and was loved and respected by all of his classmates, who will miss him. In addition ' to his mother, he is survived by three brothers, Eugene and Waldo, of Milford, Mil-ford, and William, of Baker, Nevada; and two sisters. Mrs. Pearl Morrell, of Milford, and Grace, of Los Angeles, An-geles, Calif. i ' He was born August 19, 1914, at Bicknell, Utah. He spent most of his life in Milford and Baker, and as he grew up, easily won many close friends among his associates. The funeral services were conducted conduct-ed by Bishop Win. Miller at the L. D. S. chapel Wednesday afternoon, at 2 P. M. The services were as follows: .Song, by the Chorus, "I'll Go Where You Want M'e to Go, Dear Lord." Invocation, J. W. Clay. Vocal duet, F. Earl Stott and Company, Com-pany, "Song of the Soul." First Speaker, E. H. Bird, who spoke with feeling and gave words of comfort to the bereaved. Solo, Dan Ferguson, "Face- to Face," assisted at the piano, by. Mrs. Carl Johnson. Second speaker, Frank Williams, of Minersville, Who spoke in a very impressive manner with words of consolation. Remarks, by Bishop Miller. Benediction, F. Earl Stott. Interment at the Milford cemetery followed the services. The grave was dedicated by Bishop Miller. Pallbearers Pall-bearers were his boy friends and companions, Delmar Kirk, Harvey Davenport, Ferrin Frazier, Authnell Martin, Shrman Hickman and Mlvin Bowman. Flower girls were, Rosa-bell Rosa-bell Jones, Maxine Kirk, Stella Hol-lis, Hol-lis, Dee Lynn, Luella Bird, Ethel Hearn, Catherine. Bradfield and Vir-ga Vir-ga Killam. The floral offerings were very profuse pro-fuse and beautiful. Many of them were contributed by his classmates and high school students. |
