Show HOLSTEIN - FRISIAN ASSOCIATION SENDS SPEAKERS, MAY 10 Dairy Stock Exhibition with Lecture to be Held in This Valley. National and state representatives of the Holstein-Friesian Association will come to South Milford on May 10, and will hold session devoted to the promotion and development of dairying in this valley. It is planned to hold a stock show in the afternoon of May 10, to be followed in the evening, ev-ening, either at South Milford or in Milford, by speaking. The following stock experts will be nerer H. A. Mathiesen, national representative of the Holstein-Friesian Association; C. H. Erickson, of Salt Lake, who is the Utah state president of the association; as-sociation; Prof. Gorge B. Cane, of the dairying department of the Utah State Agricultural College at Logan; and County Agent Lew Mar Price, of Beaver. This will be the last of such meetings meet-ings ever held here and it is planned to make it a Black and White day, so-called by many localities who have taken the same interest in dairy development. de-velopment. A committee from the Milford Lions Club will co-operate with the South Milford farmers in an endeavor to put on a little stock show, interest in which may be increased in-creased by the awarding of prizes. Lectures on judging and selecting of livestock will follow in the evening. |
