Show Milford Sailor Boy Weds Minersville Girl The R. H. Mills home was the scene Monday, March 26, of a pretty wedding when Miss Colleen Myers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Myers of Minersville, exchanged ex-changed marriage vows with Harry Douglas Farnow jr., radio man second class in the United States navy. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. C. R. Grimshaw of Milford. The ceremony was performed by Carlyle F. Gronning, bishop of the Milford L. D. S. ward. The bride was given in marriage by her father and was attended by Mrs. Beulah Eyre Wunderlich, while Ray Mills was best man. The bride was charming in a powder blue two-piece suit and carried a bouquet of gardenias and red roses. The wedding was attended at-tended by immediate relatives and close friends of the couple. Immediately after the ceremony a buffet luncheon was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Grimshaw, after which the newly-weds newly-weds were escorted to the train amidst a clamor of auto horns, tin cans and showers of rice. They will honeymoon in Las Vegas, Nevada, Ne-vada, and visit with the groom's father, H. D. Farnow sr., and other relatives and friends, returning in time for a wedding reception to be given Monday evening in the Minersville Min-ersville high school gymnasium. The happy couple has the best wishes of The News and a host of friends throughout the county. |
