Show Funeral Services For D. HLGriffiths A large gathering of friends from throughout the county gathered at the Milford L. D. S. church Friday of last week to pay their respects' (o D. M. Griffiths, who had passed away the preceding Wednesday. The services were in charge of Bishop E. H. Bird and the speakers were former Bishop W. A. Miller and Bishop Bird. Musical numbers included in-cluded selections by a quartet, a violin solo by Marcel Horton, and vocal solos by Mrs. Andrew Jensen and Miss Juanita Miller. Mr. Griffiths was born in Greenville Green-ville April 20, 18G8, and, except for 18 years residence in Nevada, ; had -made his home in Beaver county all his life, the family moving to Milford six vears airo. He is survived kv Kia i widow, two daughters, Mrs. Leslie Roberts of Caliente and Mrs. Leland Rowley of Black Rock; one sister, Mrs. J. T. Tanner of Beaver, and 12 grandchildren. Among those attending the funeral from outoftown were Mr. and Mrs. John H. Barton, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Barton, Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher Barton, Mr. and Mrs. William Easton, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Morgan, Mr. and Mrs. William Morgan, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Tanner, Angus Easton, Mrs. Nancy Worthen, Otto Schwob, and Mrs. Tanner and daughter. Miss Vera ' Tanner, all of Beaver; and Mrs. Dave Reece, Mrs. Julia Griffiths, Mr.s. Lawrence Thompson, Roy Barton, Editha and Veral Williams, all of Greenville. |
