Show o : o I ADAMSVILLE o o Is Injured By Angry Cow While W. U. Stewart was driving one of his milch cows out of his f:eld the cow for some cause became enraged en-raged and striking him with her head caused Mr. Stewart to fall and injure his leg. For the present tv is confined to his home. The Young Ladies Sewing Club met at the home of Miss Eleanor Johnson Sept. 19th, and at the home of Mrs. Thomas Jones, Sept. 2oth. A dainty luncheon was served at each home for all of the Club members. Mr. and Mrs. Manning, of Lehi, were visitors at the home of Evan E. Jones, Sunday. Mrs. Sarah A. Jones is having a new garage built and R. A. Joseph is tearing down the old residence that was in past years occupied by his father and family. There is some road work being done in this district. A few turns are being taken out of the road near the reservoir. W. H. Evans, who has employment as blacksmith in Frisco, motored home Sunday, returning the same evening. Little Nettie Puffer is receiving medical aid for an infection on her leg caused from a mosquito bite. Lelis Baldwin is suffering from a severe burn on her arm. While she was standing near the stove, some boiling water splashed on her. Sunday evening, Mrs. Jasper Puffer Puf-fer entertained some of her near relatives and friends of Adamsville and Manderfield. The event was ac-casioned ac-casioned by Mr. Puffer's birthday. A hot supper was served at about 8 o'clock. All had a jolly good time together. to-gether. Monday afternoon several friends and relatives of Beaver, Milford, Min-ersville Min-ersville and Adamsville surprised Mrs. Henry Larsen at her home with a Stork Shower. A luncheon was served the same afternoon to all the ladies present. Mrs. Larsen was made very happy with many beautiful gifts. o |
