Show INTERESTING TALKS HEARD BY LIONS Again exceeding the number expected, ex-pected, members of the Lions club gathered Wednesday noon at the At-kin At-kin hotel and listened to two fine addresses. N. C. Hanks was introduced and spoke. He is from Heber City and i is sadly afflicted on account of los-j los-j ing his eyesight and hands in a mining min-ing accident when a young man. He gave a talk that was full of gems' of philosophy. His cheerful spirit was plainly manifest in spite of his disabilities. The other speaker was Director William Peterson, of the Extension Department of the Utah Agricultural j College. He spoke upon water legislation legis-lation and sjave in substance the same remarks that he gave the farmers farm-ers in the afternoon. |
