Show Seconb Marb By MRS. BETH FISHER Next Tuesday night will be a good chance for those who are .strangers to Mutual to see how the MIA works. That evening has been set as the Second Ward's "Meet Me At Mutual" night. The various parts and activities of Mutual will be demonstrated and a good time i.- nromised to all. It's to be Tuesday, Jan. 29, at 7:30 p. m. Be sure and come. j The Genealogical Society, under un-der the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Stewart, and with Mrs. Stewart in charge, presented a specially outlined program in Sacrament Meeting on Jan. 20. . The theme of the meeting was "The Eternal Family." Talks were given by Patricia Wilcock, Beth Fisher and Jesse Long. The Seminary Girls Sextette sang "The Temple by the River" and Faye Berger sang "Open the Gates of the Temple." Aaron Hansen was accompanist for both numbers. - Representing the Stake Genealogical Committee Commit-tee was Harvey Dean. Mr. and Mrs. Parley B. Fisher have returned home after two . weeks at St. George and the temple. ' A reminder to tell all about the party honoring the outgoing bishopric. The following girls sang in : the Seminary Sextette last Sunday Sun-day evening: Jeanette Stoker, Hazel Ann Kesler, Bonnie Lund, I Lois Jean Fowles, Afton Hollis and Jonelle Baxter. Stake officers in attendance at Priesthood meeting on Jan. 21 were William R. Merrill, La-vaJ La-vaJ Bradshaw, J. C. Smith, Carl White, and George C. Bradshaw. A correlation meeting of all ward officers and teachers has been set for next Sunday, Jan. 27, at 1 p. m., right after Sunday j School. |
