Anthony, Jr., of Kansas, nre commonly known ns the Public Shooting Oround Qame ltefuge 11)111. This measure provide that every (iunner who hunts migratory birds shall first tnko out a federal hunting license costing 51 per year. Kvery cent of the money received from the sale of such S$ licenses Is to go Into u special fund r F known as the "Migratory IHrd Protnc-' Protnc-' tlon Fund." Fort)-(lve per cent Is to be expended for t'o purchnso of suit able areas for use as public shooting grounds and migratory bird refuges. ' Forty-live per cent Is to be used for ( ' protecting and caring for the birds. I This leaves n balance of 10 per cent to bo used for any other expenses necessary neces-sary to give effect to the provisions of the net. Sportsmen claim that this bill has Cient merit.
