Show Too Bad. The proposed meeting of the beekeepers bee-keepers proved a complete lizzie, less than a half dozen being at the Court House yesterday morning at the appointed ap-pointed time. Mr. Nephl Miller, the representative In this county for the State Association, stated that the small number In attendance was piobably because of the amount of work the people of the county now have on hand. He also stated that the severe cold weather during tlio month or February destroyed a large number or colonies of bees In the southern end of the county and that some of the bee keepers were not so enthusiastic on that account. Mr. Miller still has hopes of securing an organization, and in fact intends to keep up his efforts until the desired end Is accomplished. May he prove successful. |
