Robbins, Esq., for several years past a valued employe of Z.C.M.I. had resigned his position in that establishment to assume control of the new 4th ward store. The latter institution is now carrying an excellent and greatly varied stock of general merchandise. It sells an article of ladies shoes in several styles, made by Smith Bros. [Brothers] of Brigham city, that in workmanship, appearance and prices successfully competes with imported goods, while in point of durability the home made is greatly superior. The store also sells men's boots, ?[shoe] and ? made by the same firm, that are cheaper and better than imported goods of similar kinds. We call attention to the now advertisement of the 4th Ward store in this issue, and commend it and its popular manager to the favor of the public.
