Mrs. James F. Hallsey and Mrs. Sidney ,W. Nicholes were extra guests. Mrs. R. W. Clark presided over, the meeting and refreshments were served. Sorosis Mrs. John H. Robinson was hostess Friday afternoon to the Sorosis ladies. Bridge was the diversion with prizes going to Mrs. William H. Roberts, Mrs. Walter A. Devey, who was a special guest, and Mrs. Lawrence Briggs. A lovely lunch was served serv-ed late in the afternoon. 4-H Club News Food Basket Mrs. Mark Coddington's 4-H first year cooking group organiz ed at a meeting held at her home Tuesday. Joyce Miller was elected president, Marilyn Dur-rant, Dur-rant, vice president; Marian Adamson, secretary; Sharlene Ash ton, song and cheer leader; Marilyn Coddington, organist, and Joy Robinson, reporter. Carrie Car-rie Jean Robinson is also a member mem-ber of the group. They plan to meet each Thursday at 2 p. m. Guests at the first meeting were Mrs. Earl C. Robinson, district supervisor, and Mrs. Lawrence Ashton. Pins and Needles Glenda Abel was elected nresi- dent of the "Pins and Needles" 4-H second year sewing group at their meeting Tuesday. Delores Leitner is secretary. Eleanor Brown, chorister; Carma Grant, recreation leader, and Lela Mav Lee, reporter. The meetings will De neia each Thursday at 1:00 o'clock. - Sew-A-Stitch Elaine Greenwood is president of the newly organized Sew-A-Stitch 4-H club which has Mrs. Don Wagstaff for leader. Sherrie Be thers is vice president; Bar bara Wagstaff, secretary; LaRene ueghorn, organist, and Barbara Kneiseler, reporter. Other members mem-bers are Loye Brown, LeAnna Cahn, Irene Chipman, and Patsy Pate. The group meets each Wednesday at 6 o'clock and as a first year class will make hot pads. Kitchen Queens, first year food group, met Thursday at 2 d. m. at the home of their leader, Mrs. David Teague. Ann Evans and Marilyn McCormick made plain muffins: Ha Saxtnn and Mariorie Gordon made whole wheat muf- nns; Deanna Grant and Mvrna Ault made hot chocolate. Paper table setting was demonstrated and the group served the food they had prepared. This group meets each Thursday.
