At the time of tho general move of the Church he went witli his """' parents to Spanish Fork and re mained there one year; lived with his parents in Camp Floyd, Cedar ' ' Valley, 1850 to 10(52, when ho k.h '' moved to Lelii whoro he has lived ever since. , In 180(5 lie drove an ox team to 'tho Missouri Kiver to meet immi- grants who were coming to Utah. In JflOl lie was set apart as president of the Elders Quorum and occupied that position until the Lehi ward was divided; alter which ho was ordained a ,. . member of tho Seventy's Quorum. At the time of his death ho was "i . an active teacher. Ho has been an active member ., of the Missionary Fuiul Committee .since its first organization in Lehi. At tho ago of 27 ho married Elizabeth Bono Who died threo years later. In 1877 ho was married to Anna Brounelsou who passed from this Hfo April 20th, 1002. Ho was tho father of M chrlldren ten of whom survive him. |
