Mrs. Prisbrey, the former Hat-tie Hat-tie Dover Jones, has served as a Relief Society President, has worked in the Primary and Sunday School and has served serv-ed as a visiting teacher for 28 years. Mr. Prisbrey is a member of the High Priest group of the Cedar Fourth Ward. The Prisbreys are parents of seven children, all living. They include: Paul, Kanab; Nettie Hosuton, Santa Anna, Calif, and Dorothy Clark, Kay, Jay, DeLoy and Rodney, all of Cedar Ce-dar City. They also have 20 grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Prisbrey of Cedar City will be honored at' an Open House, Sunday, Feb. 9 in honor . of their 50th -Wedding Anniversary. Members of the family will host the event at the home of a son; Kay Prisbrey, 332 North 500 West. Friends and relatives rela-tives have been invited to attend at-tend between the hours of 1 2 and 5 p.m. The family requests no gifts. The couple were married in the St. George LDS Temple on Feb. 11, 1919 and made their early home in St. George. In .1924 they moved to Cedar City where they have resided since. Mr- Prisbrey is a retired carpenter, car-penter, and building contractor. contract-or. Both have been active |
