GEORGE D. HALEY. JR. Pam Dalton and George D. Haley, Jr. United in St. George Temple Ceremony Rites solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple Saturday, Jan. 25, united Miss Pam Dalton Dal-ton and George D. Haley, Jr. in marriage, with president Rudger Atkin officiating in the double ring ceremony. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Dalton of Parowan, and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Jean Haley. A reception honoring the nevvlyweds was held that cve-ing cve-ing in the Parowan First Ward cultural hall. The color theme for the reception was winter wonderland, with pink and white flocked trees, pink covers cov-ers on refreshment tables with silver center pieces. The bridal bri-dal arch was trimmed with silver pine boughs, pink lights and bows.. The bride's gown of bridal satin and train was trimmed with lace and mother of pearl sequins. Her shoulder-length net veil featured the same trim, and she carried a bouquet bou-quet of white and pink baby rosebuds, a pink orchid and trimmed with silver ribbon. Mrs. Shauna Sparkman was matron of honor, Miss Jolene Stubbs was maid of honor, and bridesmaides were Misses i Sharlene Decker, Chris Knight, Jackie Jensen and Chris Haley. Ha-ley. The bride's little niece, Alisa Sparkman, was flower girl. All attendants wore floor length gowns of pink satin and pink veils with silver trim. They carried pink and silver bouquets. The color scheme was fur- thcr carried out by the three-tier three-tier wedding cake in pink, , white and silver trimmed with I pink baby roses; refreshments were pink punch, cream puffs, mints and nuts. Best man was Douglas Hardy Har-dy and ushers were Edward Sparkman and Mike Smithi-zer. Smithi-zer. Both Mrs. Dalton and Mrs. Haley wore simple pink dresses dres-ses with silver trim. Miss Cheryl Lynn Stubbs officiated at the guest book; and those displaying the gifts were Mrs. Dixie Evans, Mrs. Sandra Roberts, Mrs. Evelyn Orton, Judy Dalton, Kathy Miller and Shirley Abbott. In charge of refreshments was Mrs. Elna Stubbs. She was assisted by Sheila Evans nad Mary Beth Haley. Serving were the Misses Carolyn Watson, Wat-son, Kathy Robinson, Cheryl Gui'fey. The bride's going away costume cos-tume was an orange and beige two-piece coat suit with orange shoes, and beige purse and gloves. After a honeymoon trip to the south rim of the Grand Canyon, the newlyweds went on to Phoenix, Ariz, and to Flagstaff where they will make their home. The bride is a senior at Parowan High School and she will transfer to a Flagstaff j high school where she will continue her schooling The bridegroom is a junior at Northern Nor-thern Arizona University. |
