Murdie of Salt Lake City united unit-ed their daughter, Linda, and Barry L. Peters Gillette on Nov. 3. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Peters Pe-ters of Cedar City. Officiation in the double ring ceremony was Keith Hill a former LDS Bishop. The bride's street length dress w'as of white embroidered embroider-ed crepe and featured a jeweled jew-eled neckline. Her pillbox hat was trimmed with a short veil which fell about her face. The bridal bouquet was gardenias. Miss Pamela McMurdie was the maid of honor, and Miss Roberta Peters acted as bridesmaid. brides-maid. Brent Tucker was best man, and Ronald Merkeley ushered I the guests into the reception which was held immediately following the wedding at the McMurdie home. Fall colors of apricot and olive green were used to decorate the home. The couple were further MR. AND MRS. BARRY L. GILLETTE honored at an open house held at the Peters home in Cedar City on Sunday, Nov. 5. The bridegroom graduated from Cedar High School in 1965 after which he attended the University of Utah for two years. He is presently serving in the United States Air Force. His basic training was received receiv-ed at Lackland Air Base in Texas. He then received four weeks of medical training at Shepard Air Foce Base, Texas and has just been reassigned to iscale Air Force Base in Marysvale, Calif, where he will serve as a dental assistant. assist-ant. The bride is a graduate of Skyline High School in Salt Lake City. She then attended Utah State University in Logan Lo-gan for a year after which she completed her training at the IBM school in Salt Lake. The couple honeymooned en route to their assignment "in California. ' |
