The newlyweds are presently present-ly making their home in Cedar Ce-dar City where he is attending attend-ing CSU and she is employed by Mountain States Telephone. Tele-phone. They are both graduates of Cedar High where he was active ac-tive in sports. She attended CSU where she was a member mem-ber of the. Phi Rho soroity and the Thunderette Marching eronrj. Sonja Miller, John Black Exchange Vows In St. George LDS Temple Ceremonies Miss Sonja Miller became the bride of John Richard Black in rites solemnized in the St. George Temple on November No-vember 2. President Rudger Atkin officiated at the double-ring double-ring ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Nyal Miller, Cedar City, are parents of the I bride; Mr. and Mrs. Milton R. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Cameron, Rita Sue Cameron, and Dorothy Doro-thy Ann Young. Mr. and Mrs. Al Lane and Mrs. Max Hall came from Henderson, Nev. Other out of town guests included: Mrs. Harold Horton, Logan; Mr. and Mrs. Reid Miller Mil-ler and Mrs. Florence Mc-Ewen, Mc-Ewen, Panguitch; Mrs. Mary Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Bill ' Garrett, Gar-rett, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Lis-ton, Lis-ton, and Mrs. Josephine Oviatt, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Jolley, former Cedar City residents, resi-dents, are the parents of the bridegroom. Following the ceremony, the bridal party was feted at a Wedding Breakfast at the CSU Cafeteria hosted by the bridegroom's parents. That same evening the new. lyweds were honored at a reception re-ception at the Cedar West Stake 7th-9th Ward Cultural Hall. They greeted guests in front of a white satin backdrop back-drop covered with balls of cranberry and pale pink. The same color scheme was carried car-ried throughout the rest of the decorations which included includ-ed large pink bows of velvet ribbon and a large planter trimmed with these bows and topped by a large ball of roses in pink and cranberry. The bride was simple elegance ele-gance in her gown of bridal satin covered with lace. The dress featured an empire waist with a satin waist band and long pointed sleeves. The shoulder length veil was attached at-tached to a satin pillbox trimmed with satin. A cascade cas-cade bouquet of white Phil-aenopsis Phil-aenopsis Orchids and steph-anotis steph-anotis set off by clusters of small pink pearls completed the bridal picture. The bridegroom's bride-groom's boutennier was one Phalaenopsis orchid. Maid of honor was Miss Elma El-ma Lynne Sandberg; bridesmaids, brides-maids, Miss Donna Rae Hyatt, Mrs. Phillip Robinson, Mrs. Doug Knight, and Mrs. Neil Riffle, and Jr. Bridesmaid, Becky Clark blended into the decor in their floor length, velveteen gowns of cranberry. They held long canes with balls on top made of pale pink mums and Forever Yours roses. ros-es. Mitchell Robinson and Clark Jolley stood with the bridegroom bride-groom as best men, and ushers were Doug Knight, Wayne Clark, Randy Robinson, Ross Miller, and Richard Carter. Both mothers wore street-length street-length dresses of pale pink crepe with corsages of Forever Yours roses. Mrs. Milton Hyatt played the organ throughout the reception. re-ception. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Sandberg acted as host and hostess for the reception, and Mrs. Steve Mitchell presided at the guest book. Th gifts were taken care of by Mrs. Ross Woolsey, Mrs. Don Ray Alger, Mrs. Paul Woodard, and Mrs. Danny Havcock. Mrs. Bill Dover, Mrs. Sterling Ster-ling Bossard, Mrs. Joseph Felix, Fe-lix, Mrs. Elmer Wood, Mrs. Dick Manzione, Mrs. Evan Dobson, Mrs. Harland Dur-and, Dur-and, and Mrs. Alice Hickman helped in the kitchen; and the serving was done by Misses Pam and Marge Marshall.
