CLINT LAMAR MATHESON Open House Honors Newlyweds United In marriage during a double ring ceremony were Miss Helen Jo Batt and Clint LaMar Matheson. The couple exchanged vows Dec. 30 at the home of the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. LaMar W. Matheson in Cedar Ce-dar Valley. Bishop J. Henry Grim-shaw Grim-shaw officiated. , The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Edna G. Batt and the late June K. Batt of Pleasant Grove. In addition to an open house held at the home of the mother of the bride, the couple were feted at a reception held Jan. 15 in the Enoch Ward Relief Society rooms. For her nuptials, the bride wore a two-piece street length dress made of white brocaded satin. She held a bridal bouquet made of white orchids surrounded by pink rosebuds. In keeping with a blue and : pink color scheme, three attendants attend-ants wore blue cotton A-line dresses with carnation corsages. I Maid of honor was Cathy Matheson Math-eson and bridesmaids were Vicky Matheson and Ginette Batt. Paul Walker was best man and Carl Nelson acted as an usher. The bride's mother wore a pink dress while the bridegroom's mother's costume was of blue. . Both mother had glamelia cor-1 sages. I Assisting at the reception in Enoch were Caroline Matheson at the guest book and Ivan Matheson Math-eson acted as host. Gift room attendants included Jane Hey-wood, Hey-wood, Pauline Bogh, Sandra Gis-seman Gis-seman and Charla Wallace. Gift bearers were Boyd Matheson. Ra-1 nee Matheson and Suzanne Daly. I Kitchen hostesses were Mrs. C. T. Daly, Mrs. Rex Maxwell, Mrs Ivan Matheson, and Mrs. Sher-win Sher-win Taylor and were assisted by serving attendants, Debra Taylor, Tay-lor, Angela Matheson and Mrs. Warren Rigby. Background music was furnished fur-nished by Patsy Maxwell and Lvnda Daly at the piano. The newlyweds are currently making their home in Cedar City Ci-ty where they are both employed at Leigh Furniture Company. The bride graduated from the Pleasant Grove High School in 1965 and has attended College of Southern Utah. The bridegroom bride-groom graduated from Cedar City High School, completed six months training in the National Guard and has also attended CSU. |
