Garfield, Enoch, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Darla Jane, to Hale J. Mellor, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Rex Mellor, Fayette, Utah. The couple plan to be married mar-ried September 5 in the St. George LDS Temple. Miss Garfield is a 1963 graduate grad-uate of Cedar City High School where she was active in musical and dramatic productions. She attended College of Southern Utah where she participated in the Drama Club, Thunderbird paper staff and was affiliated with the Lambda Delta Sigma sorority. Mr. Mellor is a graduate of Gunnison Valley High School where he participated actively in sport;. He has completed an LDS Mission to Sweden and is cur-rently cur-rently attending College of Southern Utah where he will be a senior this fall.
