Show Miss Julia Matheson Weds Sherel Lister In Church Ceremony .... f The First-Second Ward Relief Society room was the setting for the marriage of Miss Julia Matheson and Sherel Lister on Saturday evening of last week. The young couple were married In the presence of immediate members of both families and close friendc, with Bishop George F. Rowley performing the cere-' cere-' mony. The bride Is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Joseph Matheson and the Bridegroom Is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Lister, all of Parowan. A reception honoring the newly new-ly married coup?e wax held at 8 that evening at the me place, hosted . by the parents of the bride, and featuring a program with Clair Hulet as master of ceremonies. For the wedding and reception the bride wore a waltz-length dress of nylon lace with an apron effect In the back. It featured a skirt with a bow at the waist, and long tapered sleeves. Her veil was of sheer bridal illusion and was secured to a headpiece of lace studded with pearls. She carried a bridal bouquet of red and white roses. Attending the bride as maid of honor was Dianne Hulet and the bridesmaids were Adele Green, Madalyn Leigh, Norma Alger, Shanna Rae Clark and Ra Nae Matheson. Standing with the bridegroom were his brother Kendall Ken-dall Lister a"d his brother-in-law David Matheson. Ushers were Roderick Lister, Douglas Lister, Alan Stubbs and Bevan Matheson. Mathe-son. Mother of the bride wore a dress of printed royal blue nylon ny-lon and the mother of the bridegroom bride-groom wore a dress of flower lace, and boiii wmi corsages of double roses. The bridesmaids carried nosegays of double roses In varied colors. The gifts were displayed by Cora Hulet, Margaret Hulet, Beatrice Bea-trice Mickelson and Anna Stubbs. Virginia Mickelson was at the guest book. Helping In the kitchen kitch-en were Car ma Hulet, Norma Hulet, Hu-let, Jean Bulloch and Lawana Tullls and the following girl friends served refreshments: Ro-aine Ro-aine Reese, Georgia Rowley, Ruth Ann Dal ton. Betty Jean Bulloch, Darlene Hyatt and Geraldlne Stubbs. Following the reception they left on a honeymoon to the southern Utah Parks and are now at home in Parowan where the new Mrs. Lister will continue her studies at Parowan High School where she.
