Show Marlene Hanzon Weds In LDS Temple Rites Miss Marlene Hanzon, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hanzon, Han-zon, Cedar City, and Norman Prince, son of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Prince of New Harmony, exchanged ex-changed marriage vows in the St. George L S temple Saturday, Satur-day, Aug. 10, and were honored at a reception at the Cedar Stake House the same evening. Attendants of the bride were Mrs. Robert Huntington, sister of the bride, matron of honor; Miss Sherma Huntington, maid of honor; Mrs. Theron Foster. Mrs. Thomas Ramage, Mrs. Dayle Per kins and Miss Laureda Prince, bridesmaids. Lawrence Ashdown stood as best man for the bridegroom. bride-groom. The bride was lovely in a bridal bri-dal gown with floor length nylon ny-lon tulle skirt, lace bodice and I long pointed sleeves. Her bou-iquet bou-iquet was of white orchids surrounded sur-rounded by yellow carnations. The matron and maid of hon-er hon-er were gowried In peacock blue, while the bridesmaids wore pale yellow dresses. All carried bouquets bou-quets of yellow carnations. Serving at the reception were Anna Talbot. Berdean Hall and Jeanne Melville. In charge of thp gift room were Louise Hanzon. Doris Esplin and Dorothy Torger-son. Torger-son. At the guest book was Janet Fife, while Ronald Prince served as usher. Piano music was provided pro-vided by Diane Cooley and vocal music by Dr. Blabie Johnson. The bride is aSusiness major graduated from the College of Southern Utah and the bridegroom bride-groom a physical education major ma-jor graduate from the Utah State University, where he was a prominent prom-inent member of the football team. Mr. and Mrs. Prince will make their home in Grace. Idaho, where Mr. Prince has accepted a position as high school football coach. |
