Show Ada Marie Garner Becomes Bride In Hurricane Rites Ada Marie Garner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Garner f Cedar City, became the bride of Claire Frank Langston of Hur. ricane in rites performed on Fri-.day, Fri-.day, Aug. 2. The ceremony was held at the home of Mr. Langs-ton's Langs-ton's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Langston. Immediately following the wedding ceremony the couple was honored at a reception held at the Calvin Gubler residence. The bride wore a gown of pink lace over satin. It was of ballerina bal-lerina length. She carried a bouquet bou-quet of white gardenias. Attending the biide were Mrs. Cal Gubler, her sister, as matron of honor, with Doris Garner ar.i Sara Jarre tt as bridesmaids. Miss Garner is also a sister of the bride. Standing as best man was Karl White. A program was held at the re-ception re-ception with Reed Langston acting act-ing as master of ceremonies. Clinton Isom played the guitar and sang. Craig Barrick gave a pantomime of "Yosemite Sam." An accordion solo was given by Essue Lempens and Gerald Glf-ford Glf-ford gave a number playing the guitar and yodeling, and Elco Orton and Essie Lorn pens completed com-pleted the musical portion of the program with a vocal duet, "Love Me." A reading was given by Jerri Gubler entitled 'The Basketball Game," and another reading. "Potato Bug," was given by Reed Langston to complete the program. |
