Show Karlene Humphrey WedsIoelP. Bauer in Temple Rites ' President Harold S. Snow of ' the St. George Temple officiated at a wedding on Friday, Aug. 23 which united Joel P. Bauer and Karlene Humphery of Cedar City. Present at the ceremony were close friends and members of the couple's immediate family. The new Mrs. Bauer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam E. Humphrey and the bride, groom Is the son of Mrs. Mary; P. Bauer. Newlyweds were honored by friends and relatives at a reception re-ception -Friday evening held lnf the Relief Society rooms of the Cedar First Ward. The bride was attended by. Marlene Sandberg, Murray, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Patricia Brunson and Karen Fife. Flower girls were the young Misses Ruth Humphrey, sister of the bride; Lee Ann Bird and Helena Hel-ena Bauer. j Performing the duties of best, man was Dale DeMllle. The bride greeted guests In a white wedding dress of satin, over a skirt of lace. Gown was of floor length with fitted bodice j and long sleeves. Her veil, of fin- ( gertip length, was attached to a crown of seed pearls. She carried , a bouquet of orchids surrounded surround-ed by carnations. I Following the reception the couple left on an extended hon-! eymoon trip through Nebraska and on into Canada before re-' turning to Cedar City to make their home. Joel attended Cedar High School and Is presently employed by the Webster Coal Co. Mrs. Bauer attended Jordan High School In northern Utah and Cedar High School last year. , if . , ' t - - v n) MARRIED IN TEMPLE.
