Show 1 - " Cedar Lady Dies Of Heart Ailment Mrs. Nora Taylor Walker, 67, wife of Joshua Walker, and well-nown well-nown Cedar City resident, died it her home Tuesday afternoon of a heart ailment. She had been in poor health for sometime some-time but had not been seriously 111 until a few days before her death. Mrs. Walker was born In Parowan Paro-wan on May 10, 1882, a daughter of Thomas and Ann Chadburn Taylor. On June 9, 1909, she mar-rled mar-rled Mr. Walker in the Salt Lake Temple. Following their mar-ringe mar-ringe they resided in Cedar City for a number of years but later moved to Summit to make their home. They moved back to Cedar City about ten years ago. She had been active In various vari-ous auxiliary organization of the LDS church until recent years. She is survived by her husband, hus-band, five sons and one daughter, daugh-ter, Boyd Walker and Mrs. Jean Farrow, Summit; Ardell and Howard Walker. Cedar City; June Walker. Omaha, Nebraska; Tay. lor Walker, California. Also surviving sur-viving are two brothers, J. A. Taylor, Bountiful, Utah and Wes-ley Wes-ley Taylor Thatcher, Arizona. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p. m. in the Cedar Third ward chapel. Burial will be In the Cedar City cemetery under the direction of the Southern South-ern Utah Mortuary. - |
