Show Jewett Wood Dies Of Heart Attack A sudden hem attack claimed the life of Jewett Wood, 55. Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon. Mr. Wood was htrlcken while playing pool and died almost Instantly, Just toppling top-pling to the floor without warning of any kind. He was In Rood heal?'.: and had apparently never suffered from any heart ailment. Mr. Wood was born in Kanarra on June I. 1891. a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wood, and lived there until about two years ago when he moved U family to Cedar City. In 1919 he married Eva Crlpps of Hurricane, who survives him, together to-gether with nine sons and daughters. daugh-ters. Mrs Ila Taylor. Mrs. Iris Dal-Urn. Dal-Urn. and Mrs. Dixie Evuns. of Parowan: Par-owan: Forr-st Adlla. Shirley. Vlr-glnle Vlr-glnle and Euvada Wo-kI, All of Ce-t'ar Ce-t'ar City, and Clinton Wood, who Is serving with the U. S. Navy nt Fan Diego. Alo surviving are four grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Robert Kent. Salt Lake City; Mrs. EPm Ann neatly. Kanarra: IXxa. Ma Adams. Alberta. Canada nnd Lemuel Lem-uel Willis. half-brothcr Cednr City. Funeral services will be held in Kanarra, where burial will be made but the date will not b determined determin-ed until word Is recrlvrd from his son Clinton. |
