Show Last Rites Held In Cedar for John H. Corry, 75 Funeral services were he'.d Saturday at 2 p. m. in the Cedar First ward chapel for John Herbert Her-bert Corn, "3, native of Cedar City, who died suddenly at his home on Wednesday morning of a coronary occlusion. Presiding at the services was Bishop Adams Seegmiller. with Mrs. Bernella Jones at the Organ. The opening prayer was by C. William Macfarlane. Speakers were Harry H. Lunt, Warren Bulloch and William Snow, with sentiments being read by Mrs. Bebecca Bulloch. The musical program included includ-ed two vocal numbers, "The Green Cathedral" and "The Lord Is EveT Beside Me", by a ladies trio composed of Mrs. Luana Riddle, Rid-dle, Mrs. Naida Gardner and Mrs. Gladys Isom, accompanied by Mrs. Mary Jane Seaman; a vocal duet, "Beyond the Sunset" by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Wood, accompanied by Mrs. Jones, and a violin solo by Prof. Roy L. Hal-versen, Hal-versen, also accompanied by Mrs. Jones. Remarks were made by Bishop Seegmiller, and the benediction was given by George W. Grim-shaw. Grim-shaw. Dedication of the grave was by Elwood Corry, president of the Cedar stake. |
