Show Funeral Services Set for George A. Lowe, Jr. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. in Parowan for George A. Lowe, Jr., 76. a native of that city, who died Tuesday at the home of 'his daughter, Mrs. Gladys Grater. Olalhe, Colo., following several years of poor health. A resident of Parowan during most of his life, Mr. Lowe was prominent in livestock raising and farming, and gained recognition recogni-tion as a breeder of purebred sheep. He was also active in civic affairs af-fairs and had an interest in a number of businesses established in Parowan. He was born on Jan. 7, 1S75, a son of George and Harriet Allen Lowe, pioneer residents of Parowan. Par-owan. On July 10, 1895, he married mar-ried Mary Ellen Heap, and they made their home together in Parowan Par-owan until October, 1946, when she passed away. Survivors are eight of thirteen children. Mrs. Mildred Gilger, Mrs. Thora Barton and Lamont and Elmer Lowe, Parowan; Mrs. Ila Bauer, Cedar City; Mrs. Lor. na Alger, Hiawatha, Mrs. Grater of Olafhe, Colo:; Mrs. Miriam Lamb, l'amona, Calif.; three brothers bro-thers ard four sisters, Mrs. Ada Evans und Mrs. Lillian Heap, Parowan; Ernest I. Lowe, Las Vegas, Nev., Grant Lowe, Woodson, Wood-son, Ore.; Alphonso Lowe, Sac-ramento, Sac-ramento, Calif.; Mrs. Deslie Anderson, An-derson, St. George; Mrs. Laura Spendlove Bell. Calif., and 52 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren.
