Show Fine Entertainment at All Hallows College. A fine entertainment and exhibition of the work of the school was given last Saturday evening at All Hallows college. The programme was made up largely of Christmas topics, and included in-cluded some excellent, recitations by f Leslie Earls, Emmett Mulvey, James Cloonan and Jay Quealy, several creditable cred-itable musical selections by the college col-lege band, a well rendered violin solo by Arthur Pederson and a splendid recitation, "Aux Italiens," by Professor R. A. Canning. Especially fine was the athletic work of both the minim and senior gymnastic classes, under the leadership of Mr. Daniels of the Y. M. C. A. The closing remarks, appropriate appropri-ate to the season, were made by the Rev. Father Guinan, president of the college. A large number of the friends of the institution were present to enjoy the entertainment. |
