Show Wedding Bells. Miss Ida May Myres and Emit C. Alt were married Turday evening, Nov. 5. Rev. Father McMenamin performed the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Z. Myres. 2508 Champa street. Logan Avenue chapel will be the scene of a double wedding on Thursday, Thurs-day, Nov. 14, when Miss Mary Simpson will become the bride of Louis Hanna, andher sister, Miss Edith Simpson, will be married to Mr. Scott. Mr. and Mrs. F. Lee Coats of Colorado Colo-rado City are spending their honeymoon honey-moon at the Adams, Denver. Mrs. Coats was formerly Miss Mabel Colbert, Col-bert, a great favorite in her home town, and the mariage, which was celebrated cel-ebrated on Oct, 16 by Rev. Father Brinker. was quite a social event, and was attended by many friends from Denver. A newly married couple with the real glamour of romance about them are Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kingman, who are spending their honeymoon in Denver. Den-ver. Twenty years ago their dream of love was rudely shattered, and they went their separate ways, but when, in course of time, each had been married mar-ried and widowed, and fate brought them together again, the old story was repeated, but with a different ending, and last week, in the little Catholic church at Rapid City, S. D.. the two were made one. After a short stay in Denver Mr. Kingman will take his bride to his ranch at Chelany, Wash., where they will make their home. |
