Show Local Bank Posts Annual Dividend Notwithstanding the fact that the banks all over the country suffered to a considerable degree as the result of the "tightness" of money a splendid splen-did showing was made by the Gunnison Gun-nison Valley Bank at the annual meeting held at -the bank offices last Tuesday morning. The annual report re-port showed that the stockholders had been paid a dividend of seven per cent, the checks having been mailed out the first of the year. At the meeting a large majority if the stock was represented and the reports proved , highly gratifying when it is considered that the bank passed through one of the most distressing dis-tressing times in its history. At the election of the officers and directors there was no changes made, the old officers being re-elected without opposition. They are as follows: fol-lows: President, O. B. Berglund; vice-president, John C. Mellor; cashier cash-ier and secretary-treasurer. J. W. Jones; assistant cashiers, Floy A. Beck and Fred H. Jones. The board members are John S. Peterson, A. M. j Mellor, George Q. Whitlock and Ira j Overfelt. |
