Show Max Cohen Passes At California Home Max Cohen, 49, prominent in business, busi-ness, civic and professional circles in , Salina for some twenty-f've years, died at his home in Los Angeles I Wednesday morning. Death resulted from a severe heart attack, the mes-j I sage stated. He was past master of Hiram tnr,n, and was a member of El Kalah Shrine and the Scott'sh Rite lodges of Salt Lake, and the Royal Arch Masons of Mt. Pleasant. He was affiliated af-filiated with the Odd Fellows lodge at Richfield, and served as president of the Salina Lions club one term. Mr. Cohen is survived by the widow, wi-dow, Mrs. Annie Cohen, three daughters, daugh-ters, Misses Goldie Cohen, Dorothy Cohen and Joan Cohen, and one son, Jun'or Lee Cohen. Funeral and burial services will be held Sunday afternoon at Los Angeles. An-geles. Services will be conducted by the Masonic lodge there. The announcement of the sudden death of Mr. Cohen came as a severe shock to his many friends in Salina and all will mourn his death, and sorrow sor-row will be extended to the grief-stricken grief-stricken survivors.
