Larson, formerly of this city but now of Salt Lake, is the guest of friends here Tor a short stay, R R R Dr. and Mis. J. A. Hagan are with ua after an enjoyable pleasure trip west the past three weeks. R R R The Gunnison ball team met a close defeat in the game played with Manti club on the 24th. The boys returned home jubilant Sunday and reported a royal hospitality during the stay at the hands of their victors. R R R Theodore E. Christenson is back from a visit to the Seattle exposition. He states he had a genuine good time, He was accompanied on the visit by his wife, and daughter, Mrs. Hofhein. the former remaining for a more protracted stay, the guest of her daughter Mrs. D. F. McCurdy who resides at Seattle. Cashier J. T. Jones of the Gunnison Valley bank returned Tuesday from a business visit for a few days in Salt Lake. R R R Mrs. A. M. Christenson has taken her family for a few weeks at Oakley, Summit county, where Mr. Christenson Christen-son is located for the summer in charge of the sheep herds owned by Christenson Bres. of this city and Salt Lake. R R R Committees were appointed at the priesthood meeting Monday evening charged with the duties of putting the bowery in proper shape and to provide for the accommodation and comfort of those attending etako conference which convenes in Gunnison August 7 and 8. R R R Miss Emily Larson of this city is favorea with a request from E. Stevens of the Salt Lake tabernacle choir to join that organization on their trip to the A. Y. P. exposition at Seattle on August 20. Miss Larson is now in Salt Lake preparing the part assigned her for the occasion in a vocal quartette. |
