Show m f i f d H A Mil 'id lif I -r 1 I I David Evan Crosby David Evan Crosby, age 50, passed away on Oct. 4, 1997 in Brigham City, due to injuries sustained sus-tained in an auto accident. Evan was born June 14, 1997 in Panguitch to Jay and Maxine Crosby. He graduated from Panguitch Pan-guitch High School in 1965. He earned the degree of Bachelor of Science at the University of Utah in 1970 and later received a Masters Degree in Education at Brigham Young University in 1982. He worked as a public educator in the Jordan School District for 26 years, influencing many lives. An involved in-volved member of the Jordan Education Educa-tion Assn., he helped facilitate major ma-jor changes in the betterment of teachers rights. After school hours were spent as a general contractor earning money to support his family. fam-ily. Evan has immensely enjoyed working for Pella Products during the last two years. He is survived by his wife, Dana W. Crosby; his five sons: Justin, Cody, Brad (serving in the Padova Italy mission), Nick and Jacob Crosby; daughters-in-law, Dannielle and Gaylynn; grandson, Pierce Crosby; his parents Jay M. and Maxine R. Crosby, four brothers, broth-ers, Richard, Norman, Lynn and Layne Crosby; one sister, JayNell Bailey, and many loving in-laws, nieces and nephews. Evan was a sports fan, enjoying most all, watching his sons play in Karl David Rose died Oct. 6, 1997 at LDS Hospital. He had received a liver transplant June 1 1, 1997 but died four months later of complications. Karl was born Jan. 20, 1963 in Cedar City. He graduated from Cyprus High School in 1981. He served an LDS mission to England in 1982 and graduated from Brigham Young University in 1989. Karl's kindness and sense of humor endeared him to everyone he met. He was an example of integrity, integ-rity, honesty and loyalty. His TROPIC LaRene Ott Mun-son, Mun-son, 83, of Tropic, Utah, passed away Oct. 14, 1997, in Richfield. She was born January 16, 1914, in Tropic to Richard and Christabel Jolley Ott. She married James S. Munson, Sept. 14, 1934, in the St. George LDS Temple. He preceded her in death August 24, 1979. LaRene was an active member of the LDS Church where she served throughout her life. She spent her life caring for her family. She loved gardening, sewing and visiting with friends and neighbors. LaRene was a very kind and compassionate com-passionate person. Her home was always open to relatives and visitors visi-tors from out-of-town. LaRene' s life long loyalty was to Tropic where she spent all but a few years of her life. She will be missed by three sons and three daughters, James Richard and Myrna Munson, Sparks, Nev; Ella LaRene and Lloyd Colvin, Bakersfield, Calif; Alden Scott and Maxine Munson, Parowan; Elaine and Dahl Brown, Aurora; Mark McKay and Sharon -Munson, Panguitch; JoAnn and Gordon Topham, Monroe; 30 grandchildren; and 23 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by, her husband; daughter, Florence Munson; son, Chris Delano Mun- David Evan Crosby various sporting events. His family fam-ily will never forget the fishing, boating, hiking, skiing and other activities Evan introduced them to. ) Friends and family will forever be appreciative of Evan's hard work ; ethic, the integrity with which he; lived his life, his ability to enjoy life and his joy of helping others. His wife thanks him for his exemplary ex-emplary example of parenting, new insights, his love, dedication and so much more. Goodbye, my love. Funeral services were Wednesday, Wednes-day, Oct. 8. Interment was in the Panguitch Cemetery. Karl David Rose greatest desire was to serve his ; Heavenly Father and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Karl is survived by his parents, Theron and Marilyn Rose, who are currently in Trujillo, Peru, where. Theron serves as mission president,. He also leaves behind his twin brother, Keith, who was his best friend and most devoted nurse; his' loving sister Tracey and his faithful brother Eric, who is married to Joy and their son Orion. His surviving grandmothers are Geneve Plummer and Delpha Rose, Henrieville. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 18, 1997 at 1 p.m. in the Tropic LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary Friday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Tropic Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Tropic Cemetery.
