Show Services For Grant Twitchell Funeral "services for Grant V. TwitchelL 55, formerly of Escalante, were held in the Halladay Stake Center at 1:00 PJkl. Friday, March 20th. Grant died Tuesday, March 17, of an accidental gun shot wound. Friends from many sections of the State, including many former Escalante residents, cams to show their love and respect as a mutual expression of the love and loyalty he felt and showed for the people of Escalante and Southern Utah.. The funeral services were as follows: Quartet by members of the Holladay Fourth Ward Choir of which Grant had been a member, "Abide With Me"; Invocation by Horner George; song by the quartet. ' , Mrs. Minnie Syrett and Mrs Mae Dodds spent twelve days ' v'sitlng in Springdale with the John and Dewey Excell families. ,A baby girl was born to Art and Sharlene Nielsen, March 21st. Grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. Sims Duggins and Mr and Mrs. George Nielsen of Kingston. Dr. and Mrs. William Mason spent several days last week at Salt Lake; Mrs. Mason underwent surgery while there. Kathleen Church and seven friends from the U of U were weekend visitors with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Church; they also v'sited at Las Vegas and In the Parks. Mr. and Mrs. LaMon Neu- t bert and three children of Salt Lake are visiting her parents, the Joy W. Naylors; Mrs. Neu-bert sang, a solo in Sacrament meeting. The'r children are spending the time here in bed with chicken pox. Gilbert and Barbraa M'tch-ell, who are going to USU, visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. R, Houston. The Houstons took another daughter, Mrs. Gay Pearce, and children back to Salt Lake, after a week's visit here. While in the City they visited daugh- -yj '. . , Bened'ctlon, Harold R. George.
